In case any one is still interested in this thread, my Clearaudio Maestro v.2 (their top MM) sounds as good as it ever has through the AD-30. I've had several phono stages, some pretty good, but the advantages of an integrated solution are hard to beat at the price points I operate in. The noise floor is quieter than every other combo I've tried.

i have not tried a lot of phono stage ... but I'm quiet happy with my AD-30

Next step AD-50 appears on the horizon....
as i heard from some people ad-30 is a good alternative to extern phonopre´s and it will be intresting what´s the step ahead with AD-50
