I did listen to both speakers (Venere S & O3) and I agree with you, but I would like to add that the Venere S has much more bass so depends on what music you listen you might prefer the Venere S.

I auditioned them with a integrated mcintosh MA7900 (200W).

I ended up buying the Signatures . I had custom pilths made out of
1 1/4 " granite with spikes that mimic the speaker bases . That really gave the low end a boost. With the bottom port on carpeting I felt the low end could improve some with the pilths .These are very nice speakers . I'm happy
