Thanks everyone! I have already set up a date for my dealer to come over and set them up. This is scheduled for Sunday Dec 8th.

Yes, I'll have the Alexias in the house for about a week before they are unpacked and set. It's ok, I have some business travel during this time so the agony of seeing the boxes will not be there...

Yet another reason to leave them alone and wait for my dealer. I don't want to have a small accident and scratch them. What's another week...

Mike.......I see in your signature you ordered the D'Agostino Stereo Amp to power your new Wilson Alexias speakers. That should be a fabulous combination. A nice choice over the Classe amps in my opinion. Looking forward to your impressions and photos.

Heartly congrats...

I got mine since 2 weeks now (3 weeks between the order and the delivery here in Paris), they are FANTASTIC, never had such an upgrade in my system.

Thanks Dan!

Interestingly, getting the Alexias was not really in my plans. I visited a dealer in Dallas to listen to the D'Agostino amp. I was looking at this amp as well as the Classe M-600 and Pass XA200.5 to replace my ARC DS450 and drive my Salon 2s. They demoed the D'Agostino along with the ARC Ref 5SE (which I own) with the Alexias and the combination sounded fantastic. That's what did it!

Thanks Chuck. Really appreciate the tip. From everything I've read, it should not take too long to go through the break-in process.

Now, the Alexias are getting in before the D'Agostino amp. It will be a few weeks. So, I will have equipment and cables (Shunyata Anacondas and Alpha) going through break-in in to January. But that's ok...

Thanks Jean-Marc. Glad you are happy with the Alexias.

By the way, your pictures were very helpful in the color selection process. I went with black and natural (silver/stainless) hardware. This will help tie in the black ARC gear with the silver/stainless finish of the D'Agostino amp and the speakers.
