Arrow If You Ain't Tried It - Don't Knock It!

I drink about 11 cups of coffee a day (possibly an exaggeration) and it has become impractical to grind beans every time I want a cup . . .

So I use one of the Keurig things and have found several coffees that have almost made me forget "fresh ground" (My "Keurig" coffee maker is actually made by Cuisinart and I have three of the things).

The coffee K Cups that I enjoy the most are
1. Coffee People - Jet Fuel
2. Coffee People - Doughnut Shop
3. (Paul) Newman's Own Organic
4. Caribou Blend
5. Green Mountain Extra Bold Dark Magic
6. Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve
7. Tully's Italian Roast
8. Starbucks Caffe Verona Dark
9. Starbucks Pikes Place Roast

Freshly ground Dunkin' donuts original blend gets me going. A smooth, consistent cup or three.

I must confess to being a bit of a fanatic. I get fresh roasted beans (I never use more than 2-3 week old coffee from roast date). I use a vario grinder and a La Marzocco GS3 to extract the perfect shot and/or make a flat white.

The GS3 comes on every morning at 5:30 and every day I make a flat white (NZ name for what is essentially the original Italian Cappuccino) for breakfast.

After several coffee machines, I have found nirvana with the GS3. I've had it over 2 years and it gets used everyday. A great investment ...

Wow, now that is an awesome machine. I'd say you have reached the pinnacle of home espresso making.
