I am very excited!!!!! Dan's mcd1100 slipped past me, not this one. I look forward to the sonic improvement the mcd1100 will bring to the table over my mcd500 and BDA-1 (bryston used for hi-res files). Once I sell those components, the cost differential for the 1100 makes purchase a no-brainer!! Next step...C1000 pre although might be a while, long while, before that happens unless another great deal shows up in the marketplace.

Jason.......You are in for a real treat. Can't wait for your impressions. Glad Jim's MCD1100 became available.

Congrats on the 1100, I hesitated too long
Anyone want to trade a MCD1100 for my MCD500 and a future draft pick?

Sorry Mark, I didn't let any grass grow under my feet on this one. I missed out on Dan's offer due to indecision. I thought about that missed opportunity for a couple of weeks. Not this time. Timing is everything. I hope one opens up for you when the time is right for you. Until then, the MCD500 is a fantastic player.
