DRAG RACE!! PORSCHE 992 TURBO S vs 991 GT2 RS

The AWD and the launch control of the Turbo S makes it difficult for any RWD car, including the mighty 700HP GT2 RS to keep up. It takes quite a bit of distance and time to start making up the Star Trek like-"warp jump" of the Turbo S.

When I turned 70 in 2019 my wife finally said "just go ahead and get your Porsche". I was shocked to say the least but undertook the task of finding one. I did not want to order one if possible. I found one in nearby Houston. My dealer made a dealer trade and they drove it to me in Fredericksburg and took my trade back to San Antonio. Mine is not a turbo even though they all have turbo's now. It is GT silver and has a lot of options but it is a base 911 as far as the engine goes. Not sure I would want more hp. I do have the dual clutch auto. I had it wrapped before delivery. I have had it for over two years and still in love with it....! Enjoy yours...!

I'm 6'4" and have no problem in the current 911 range...

Exactly what I said about vintage Ferraris. Driving a Dino at 6'2" and 220 lb, I had to remove my shoes, sit with my chin nearly touching my chest, shoulders forward and double clutch the dog-leg gearbox because the synchro's must have went out a few decades prior.
