Gotta hand it to B&W though, I've yet to see another manufacturer put together something like this for the "cheaper" headphones in their line.

I own a pair of the P5's (amongst a few Beyers, Sonys, etc) and I have to tell you, the construction is first rate. The sound is not up there with the best because it's a portable unit, but the build quality and sheer luxury are fantastic.

What a cool event. I wished I could have participated in it. And yes, they seemed
to behave like it was not a big deal -- look cool, sophisticated and not too impressed, .

Mike, have you tried those before? (Hint: we want the open box video).

Pio,

I agree. I listened not to the P3s but to the P7s at a local high-end store near me, and they both sounded and felt FANTASTIC! Just a gorgeous pair of headphones, very well-made, all premium parts too! I have the Sony MDR-1As ($299), and although they were rated like a half-notch higher than the P7s, I suspect I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in quality, and the P7s are $100 more than my 1As too. Still, if I was to get another pair, it would be the P7s I think.
