Cable rotation?

I am in between amplifiers right now and have 2 Alpha v2 NR power cables. One powered my outgoing amplifier and the other my DAC which obviously draws much less power. My understanding is that cables age better over time. Does it make sense to change them from lower to higher current components? Kind of like rotating tires for cars that are more demanding on front versus rear.
