I’ve evaluated AQ RCA’s in the past. Then the WW’s. If you want to give the AQ Fire’s a fair shot you need a home eval. For me the Shunyata V2’s have been stellar performers. The Omegas in another league.

Rent both in, and you can find out for yourself in your system and room. The new Alpha V2s have the Shunyata TAP technology inherited from the Sigma lines. In my experience TAP provides a notable improvement in soundstage 3-dimensionalty (depth, width and height), improved inner detail, transparency, layering, articulation, precision, and resolution/separation and "body" of "voices" (either instrumental or singers), in the presentation relative to cables that don't have.

Anyone using sigma/alpha V2 XC on power Amp ?

I have a demo sigma V2 NR on Woo wa 33 ,with Denali V2 and sigma EF.
I find the sound is dark , and vocal a bit compressed.
Any opinion on sigma /alpha XC if I using it on woo audio wa 33 ?

Thanks.

I have used Sigma and Alpha NR V2s on amps, subs, LPSU, preamp and DAC for various power scenarios. Unfortunately I did not find those negative attributes, only had excellent results. It could have been a difference in gear or just good synergy. I went straight to wall for any amp, no conditioner in middle. Have you tried this?

Be sure to give the power about 48 hours to settle before you evaluate it, especially if you have just received the cable from being shipped to you.

Thanks,
I find it more open direct from wall.
But I need it to connect it from Denali , because it will protect the amp from voltage fluctuation.

Mat.1 I’m intimately familiar with the Furutech DPS4.1/NCF and Alpha V2 NR. In my system balance was achieved with alpha V2 NR on sources and the DPS4.1 on digital preamp. When I make some PSU changes next year I will probably revisit the digital preamp again. But give it some time and trust your ears.

Thanks, will give some time.
Preferably alpha NR V2 , because it fit my budget.
