Default My View-Shunyata Today

Before I start I want to acknowledge my respect for Shunyata and Caelin for their now several year contributions in the medical field. As a heart attack survivor the contributions are so appreciated.

As to the Shunyata line some of my best experiences were adding an upgrade pc to my system. Unfortunately this was back with Zitron Cobra, alpha and anaconda or sigma.

Today I feel I have no idea what might replace what and how much one needs to spend for that immediate feeling.

When is an alpha 2 better than a sigma 1 and is it always true? If Everest is the top of the mountain then where do old tritons go to die. And is a Denali a meaningful upgrade.

Truly my eyes glaze over and the great price differential is growing smaller.

I love this company and it’s products. I just have no idea what upgrade or add.

It seems to be fairly accepted that Alpha V2 performs better than Sigma V1 across the line and that Everest is the top of the Shunyata's distributor line. Difficult to comment further without knowing what your system looks like.

Start with wall cable Sigma XC first and possibly the Everest if funds permit in the first round. If you have a Triton v3 then you don’t ”have” to replace it. It will still answer to all V2 cable upgrades nicely. Form factor can be another factor.
