Hello everyone! Greetings from Houston TX!
I've been reading this forum for about a year now and decided it's time to become an official "Aficionado." I find this forum to be very helpful and have learned quite a bit over the last year from reading all of the threads. I have LOVED music for as long as I can remember and have always wanted a good system to enjoy my music, but could never afford a decent system. I'm finally at the point in my life where I can afford good gear and it's very exciting. I also play drums and have been in garage bands on and off for several years. While I have several friends who are musicians, none of them share my enthusiasm for perfect sound, so thought it would be a good idea to join this forum as I have found it very useful thus far. I purchased a good beginner 5.1 system about 2 years ago and upgraded my speakers and sub about a year ago. Now I'm embarking on setting up a dedicated two-channel listening room in my home and couldn't be more excited. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for some of the knowledge I have gained by reading this forum.  Glenn

Hello,
I'm glad to find this site.... Discovered it looking into the Mintlp protractor. I have been into stereo equipment since the late 60's and still own a McIntosh pre-amp that I bought new in '72. I recently changed phono cartridges to the Dynavector XX-2 so obviously am no longer using the C-26 as my phono stage/pre-amp. I'm certain that I will elaborate in the future on my current set-up. For now though, lurking for past few weeks has produced a great appreciation for this website and I thought it would be appropriate to introduce myself. David
