The old 8 series had a tiny grille. This is not an evolution of the original design, unfortunately.

Yes and it would have looked good on this one with a smaller grille but I still like the new one and if at all like the old 8, it will be a screamer. Tuneup on the old 8 was about $1600 unfortunately and all parts had to come direct from Germany...was a pain in the butt but I still love the car!

I do expect that one of them would be way more reliable than the other, especially in the long run...as much as I tend to appreciate things German.

Not sure if you watched the video but that was a quote from the show [emoji51]

And it makes perfect sense.

That engine note on the NA V8 is pure music. But it's not a muscle car
