Lived in Pleidelsheim in late 70's/early 80's -- a small German town a few miles north of Zuffenhausen and the kaserne was a few miles away. Would drive by the factory now & then, sometimes parking and watching 911's come out of 'barn doors' -- yes, real barn doors.

Then seeing racing Martini & Rossi Porsche 935's and other 936's parked along the curb on the street within the factory area -- older ladies pulling their grocery carts on the adjacent sidewalk -- . Talk about a pit pass.

Wouldn't recognize the place today. Memories -- ah, so good.

Best

Bob

While a great video, since it lacked any narrative the least they could have done was to have some Beethoven playing in the background !

Thanks Ivan; It's a keeper.
Incredible precision and incredible complexity of modern cars and all the tooling, bots, jigs, etc to assemble them.
