Default Help me find a new amp for Sashas

Hi there,
Presently using my Sashas in a 19 x 25 x 15 foot high room for audio and TV only.(No home theater stuff). Digital music only. The room has lots of glass windows with treatments. Using Ayre v5xe to drive at this time. I like to play pop/rock, like lots of bass, and listen on the loud side.
Constraints in new amp choice:
1-Must fit in a cabinet
2-Heat kept to a minimum for safety reasons, and room gets warm in summer

Choices I'm evaluating from local dealers:
1-Luxman M-800-Sounded great, but seems a poor candidate as very hot...I question safety in a cabinet...dealer suggests I keep off til using
2-Ayre MXR-Did not sound as good as the Luxman in my system
2-Audio Research DS 450-Cool and will fit in cabinet-scheduling demo soon
3-Electrocompaniet AW 400 monoblocks-would fit if I get a taller cabinet, not as hot...demo scheduled soon
4-Other amps at local dealers are:
Shindo-I suspect tubes not powerful enough
McIntosh
Classe

Any thoughts/help in my search for getting the best out of my Sashas would be appreciated. Thanks

if you want power, reliabilty and cool running, Bryston 28B
i just got myself a pair and they are amongst the most dynamic amps i've ever heard.
they will be a great match for the sasha.

i own sasha and maxx3 myself and drive them with arc 210, halcro dm78, pass x-350. the 28B are just as good.....

Kippyy
You already have a nice list there. In addition to the posts above I would add Accuphase and Spectrum to the list.

Oops, thanks. Spell check does not fix everything.

Burmester 911 mk.3, Conrad Johnson Premier 350, Simaudio W-9
Those would be my favorite SS choices.

(I'd include the 1.2kw's but don't think they will fit within your size constraints!)

Thanks for the replies thus far....I'd prefer to be able to hear the amp in my system, and so hoped the reccommendations would be amongst those I've listed which are carried by local dealers in the SF bay area...Should I expand my dealer options beyond 1 hrs drive time?
