Even I can afford some of these (At least if I put them on monthly payments.)

Julian.......There are plenty of wonderful and relatively inexpensive wristwatches to choose from. Many of them actually keep better time and are more reliable than the over the top offerings from the prestige companies. Sure, the ubber panache is absent from the mainstream watches but if that isn't a thing of importance, the selection of fine timepieces is enormous.

I particularly fancy the Seiko Coutura Solar watch, model SSC198. I may have to bring one home.

Squale, Glycine and Steinhart make excellent watches for great prices. Oris or Tag are well known brands that have watches for the mortals as well. Great time to be a watch aficionado.
