Stephen.......This is a beautiful watch. You were fortunate to have found it in such fine condition. I particularly like the way the leather band has an incorporated stainless clasp. Leather bands are comfortable to wear but I never liked the chore of buckling and unbuckling them daily. The integrated closing clasp solves that issue in an attractive and easy to use fashion.

Thanks, Dan! Yes, it really is. I knew of the watch, of course, but it wasn't until a coworker buddy who is a watch nut brought one in to work one day on a beautiful blue aged Colareb leather strap that saw it in the flesh, and I was completely blown away by it's beauty. He bought it with a stainless bracelet, and while I like it on a bracelet, it's when putting it on aged leather strap that really brings it's classic and vintage design cues to life. Timeless styling; this watch is destined to become a classic, IMO. The deployant as you say is really convenient, and the clasp is a classic Tudor shield shape and signed buckie. I'll take a pic of it and upload it.

Dan...it's so pretty I can't stop looking at it! Really a beautifully realized design that I think is destined to become a modern classic. I guess that's also why it won the 2013 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève Revival award.

I also really like the aged distressed leather Tudor strap that it came with. It's perfect for this piece with it's classic 1954 Tudor dive watch design cues. BTW, the strap has the aroma of hand-milled soap!
