Interesting changes with yet another Tractrix horn design. Am sure when I get to a dealer to listen to the Cornwall IV they will have the Heresy IV to listen to, as well. My Heresy III were quite underwhelming both on the floor and on stands.

I love my original Heresy’s. Wish I had room for the version IV.

I have a pair of IIIs on delivery next week. I think the III is still better because of the sealed box. I hope someone will post more findings.

I love the sound of the IIIs but any experts here compare the III to the IVs. Seems like everyone who has heard the two say the IVs are more refined and has more bass. I don't find the IIIs unrefined!

The description of the Hersey IV on the Klipsch website does a good job of explaining the improvements over the previous III.

Yes they list improvements but does it translate into real audible differences for the better. For example using Audioquest internal wiring is nothing special. Although crossover changes, port new midrange material and design will change the sound. But in what way?

I have had B stock Lacewood H3's for 8 years. The tractix horns in the 4's are tempting.

What will you be driving them with? They take a good while to settle in, so be patient. I thought the bass was fine. On a lark I added a HSU VTF-1 MKIII sub year ago. It was easy to integrate and I did not know what I was missing.

This is good wire and inexpensive. I use it bare.
