I recently reported hearing a difference in system sound as the hour meter follows burn in.

IMO, you get what you pay for in gear selection, and there is a lot of cool stuff available at all price ranges but it all goes back to the recorded audio being selected to play through various components, and does not matter if it's SACD, DSD, Hi-Res download, etc.

Thousands of $'s in gear and tweaks certainly help in amplifying clarity but not if the audio played was not recorded as top shelf.

I am sure this has been asked before on past threads, but what are your top genre and musician that you would play for others or yourself to bring out your system to its fullest?

Group effort response to make this a minimum of 10 pages of information for everyone.
