That was my main problem the year AXPONA was in Atlanta.......I've never heard so many demos of weird drumbeats, sound effects and other general nonsense that most people wouldn't want to hear. I took my own stuff with me to listen to....I'll never forget the guys in the Scaena room giving me a hard time when I asked them to listen to a duet by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Boccelli. You would think that I asked them to demo some gangster rap or something. It was ridiculous.....of course after letting me hear the song (at a somewhat lower volume just in case I guess) they thanked me for the demo......I literally couldn't believe they didn't know what they were getting with Sarah Brightman and Andrea Boccelli.

Thanks for the pictures. I've wondered -- when shows like this and CES have demo's on-going in guest rooms (which I believe to be the case), does the hotel leave an empty room between each so there is no muffled sound coming from the room next door? I also wonder what it's like to be an unaffiliated guest who just happened to select this hotel, especially on the floor above or below the demo rooms.
