I recently acquired Khorns, stepping up from Forte 1s, which moved to bedroom. A few days after buying the 1976 cornerhorns, I bought an ST-70 variant and new Mullard reissue EL34s and am extremely happy with the combo. My ST-70 has only two original dynaco parts - the OPTs, of course. Tubes all bias individually, input tubes connected triode rather than pentode, beefier power tranny and higher capacitance - even chassis and silver faceplate are new. Rustnrot build, a real beauty, with all connections on rear panel, which I like. Best sound I've owned. Yeah, I'm still stoked. While I realize it isn't the be-all-end-all, it is my BAEA.

Great set-up. Am thinking the new Triode, USA ST-70 when its time for Forte IIIs.
