It does look really good. Plus I'm a big fan of Clint Eastwood as a director.

Hollywood really needs to come up with some fresh ideas. I'm not sure what they will add to this one that we didn't see play out on live TV or in the subsequent coverage.

This has been the worst year I can remember for movies.

I have always admired his directorial efforts as well. Then he made American Sniper, which destroyed any feelings of good will I had.

To be fair I suppose my beef was more with the screenwriter, but I still cannot believe Clint Eastwood allowed his name to be associated with that execrable pile of garbage.

Mike.......I am relatively sure Clint Eastwood is not concerned with your feelings, good will or otherwise. Millions of people worldwide enjoyed the film including me, not to mention it being the highest grossing film in the US in 2014 at $350 million, nominated for six Academy Awards, plus being the highest-grossing war film of all time. Yep, I'm betting Clint is pretty sorry about being associated with American Sniper, all the way to the bank.

To keep things focused, the original topic of this thread is the movie Sully.

Had the opportunity to finally see this today. Well done. Of course Hollywood had to have good guys and bad guys since it wasn't a documentary. Very entertaining and gave a some insight as to what was going on beyond the TV cameras.
