Sounds like that is what I need to do as well. Time to look around for a bryston 10b and another sub.

On another note...if I I run main l and r channels w Subs as described above. Basically just a five channel setup...does anybody think I will lose a lot for movies in the lfe range with out a dedicated .1 channel. I may need to test this unless it is a bad idea.

I wouldn't do that in a home theater setup.....films have their own dedicated .1 LFE channel which you would be missing if you don't have a sub on the LFE output of your preamp/processor. A dedicated sub for movies sounds like the way you need to go.

I have my second sub. being controlled by my first sub so they mirror each other.

That is the way I have them hooked up now...in a daisy chain. Just thought maybe I would get the same results with the fronts as full range speakers. My attempt to make my 2 channel as balanced and matched as possible without changing my ht setup. It sounds like I need more Subs to accomplish this.
