I am going to be sitting by the sidelines the rest of the year.

See what happens with the MC275, 2301, 303 and if a MC75 or MC1501 mono appears

I am quite satisfied with my current set-up. But... if I may take a seat by the wishing well for a moment, a scaled down version of the 901 could garner my attention. Say a 451?

An Unison Research P70.

It´s an integrated tube amp I was running before the C500 T arrived home.

Now I want to change it for the "definitive" one, but seeing how the new mc1502 looks, I prefer the mc275 appearance.

I mean, if a new mc275 appears in the market I´m afraid the current one could disappear quickly.

Can't tell you how many times i've seen photos of new Mc products and didn't like them at all. Then I walk into the dealer and see it in person - wow!

Case in point the 1.25kW - when I walked into LMC, I was immediately smitten with its looks. Then I heard the pair own the more expensive Burmesters.

So, I anxiously await that with these models.

The depth and breadth of the McIntosh product line never ceases to amaze me. In this case a couple of worthy successors to the limited run 70th anniversary products will be welcome additions to the stable.

I have to admit, I’m the same way!
