I continue to get that feeling that something is missing every time I come across a thread with one of Dan's posts. Dang.

This is terrible to hear. I did not know this man personally, but always found his participation on this site to be polite, respectful and knowledgeable. My condolences to his family and to you all who knew him and called him a friend.

Dan was a true gentleman, and offered a wealth of knowledge to anyone in need. He will be missed by many including myself
with sadness,
Jim

Just learned of this horrible news. Dan was just one of those special souls. I never met him but called him friend.
I will miss you, my friend. Rest In Peace

Been awhile since I've logged in. I certainly wasn't expecting to read this. Although I never met Dan personally I remember him going back to the old days of AK. He most certainly was an audio aficionado sharing his knowledge and experiences. Such sad news. There must be some dust in here because after reading Pete's posts my eyes are a bit watery. You know Dan is up there in Heaven, with the most righteous celestial Mac system turned to 11. RIP, Sir jdandy.

Very sad. Dan definitely had a way with painting a picture which put you in the setting. I know many here were very close to Dan - very sorry for your loss.

May he rest in peace.
