Caelin, thank you for the response on the turntable power supply and why the Venom 14 digital is your recommendation. Costs aside, would the Sigma Digital be a better choice or would the Venom still be recommended for the turntable power supply because of its shielding? Many thanks

Caelin - what is better to buy - Omega XC for Everest and Alpha NR V2 for devices, or Sigma XC for Everest and Sigma NR V2 for devices?

These peripheral type devices like turntable motors; there is not that huge difference. These devices generally do not benefit by better DTCD (current) performance. But they are quite sensitive to CCI (component to component interference). So, the Venom V14 Digital was built specifically to address these components quite effectively. Does that mean that you couldn't use a more expensive NR cord and get good performance - of course yes they work fine. It's just that in my opinion it is not a great allocation of the power system budget from a system analysis point of view.

Both would work superbly, but my preference would be for the latter. Another way to think about it, depending on your budget, would be Omega XC or Simga XC for Everest, Sigma NRv2 for the power amp, and Alpha V2 for preamp and source components.
