Apologies this is slightly off topic but one of the earlier posts has got me thinking. I currently own a CD5 and was thinking about upgrading to a CD8. However would I get a better overall sound if I added a DAC8 whilst retaining the CD5 ?

Living in the UK my budget won't stretch to a CD9 or Ref DAC
