I have been very happy with my VSi75. It sounds great and looks great. You save the cost of a unit, another pair of cables and power cord.
It drives my B&W 802 Diamonds very well, speakers which I think are middle of the road in terms of difficulty (sensitivity 90db, minimum impedance 3.5 ohm)
Plus I can give you some tips if you get them!

Adam - I'm feeling a groundswell of peer pressure building here. Do you roll tubes or go with the ARC supplied tubes?

I swapped the 6h30's to 6h30dr (ie NOS Reflektor) but didn't hear much of a difference. Better was the swap from KT120s to KT150s and fuse change. I can believe how good it sounds!

Adam, what kind of kt150 do you use? And what kind of fuse did you buy? I'm very interested in your tip!

Adam.......The literature from Audio Research on the VSi75 states the new power transformer was designed around the KT120 output tube. I wonder if the longevity of the power supply capacitors and the transformer will be the same with the KT150 output tubes. Is the tube change sanctioned by Audio Research?

Somebody I know at ARC told me he had "no qualms" about using the KT150's, and that they had been testing them for quite awhile with good results. That was good enough for me!
