Your issue is with the dealer you purchased the speakers from. It's too difficult for us to determine the source of the paint issues from photos. The other issues look like wear and tear from sitting in a dealers showroom. If you knew you we're purchasing used or demo speakers you could expect "some" minor issues. Tell the dealer you want to return them. It's his issue unless you were given a great deal.

Think someone tried to repaint them? Like they got into a shipping accident??? I even wondered about counterfeit ....

The dust under the clearcoat is most likely rework damage. At this price point the OEM can not afford to have anything but very highly developed processes and quality control. Some jamoke dealer can screw up the entire experience. Wonder why the dealer is no longer a dealer?

Hmmmmm.

If Bratt was located in the US Philip would be the proper contact. Unfortunately he is located in South Korea so Philip has no involvement with these speakers' sale or support.

I would try Philip anyway. He was very accessible and helpful with my Luxman purchase. He definitely knows who to call.

hi guys,

Thank you for your replies,
i decided to NOT return this to former dealer, because there is no other new G2 from there, there will be few(2 or 3 maybe) pairs in stock but not that color.
and former dealer would not take return and full returned because this is unopened before(what they keep says)

and as many of you guys may think this is used, but i dont, because most of scratches are on the one speaker, and both are very bad painting job.(not scratches, just bad quality paint finishing)

paint sanding marks on both, and dust inside of clear coat on both, too much mirror scratches on both, i would think this is Vivid finishing quality.
and i dont know why vivid never contact me and reply me of my inquiries.

i have no idea on the bottom part,(paint peel off) and also with dent tweeter.

however, i would like to replace me tweeter, is there any one can contact Vivid and help me out to order new tweeter replacement, on D26, and D50?

i could see many dots thing on tweeter, this is NOT dealer made of for sure.

please help!

1. contacted to Vivid by email, and CEO told me to contact new dealer (Design and Audio).
2. New dealer ask me to pay $3000 for check the problems, and there will replacement charge about $3000 and if return this to Vivid shipping will cost $3000 or more.
3. I could not take offer, and Contacted to Vivid again, and never responded yet..

hi~
well, i dont think this is used, because almost of the problems are on only one of the speaker.
and there is bad quality finishing on under the clear coat and bad polishing job.

hi..

Thank you for your reply.

well, i think this is not repainted.
if repainted, there will be no paint damaged on the bottom, and there will be no many scratches.

so..
