Are there any plans to replace the C220? I assume that the next model will be the C230 (as long as Mercedes doesn't have a problem with that name).

I like my MVP881 a lot. The video is superb both DVD and BR, better than the Ayre D1xe which surprised me greatly. As far as 3D is concerned I don't ever go to 3D movies, don't like to wear the glasses and 3D doesn't do much for me. As far as audio is concerned, it's my main disc spinner and its sound is superb, better than my old Ayre D1xe or my old MF DM25 Transport/DAC. I have my MCD1100 set to the USB input for computer audio and I don't like to change the input. Your going to be paying a lot more for that 3D capability and a little bit more speed. One thing I have noticed about the MVP881, it is built like a tank and weighs 30 lbs. It is very low noise and has a very excellent power supply. I'll be keeping mine for a while. SACD's sound great. Measured jitter is 243 picoseconds compared to around 400 for my older Ayre and MF pieces. 243 picoseconds is a very good number.

Jamie.......I had the same thought when I read this. If I just shelled out $8.5K for the MVP881, I would be torqued.

I can hardly wait to see the price tag on the (let's call it the) MVP891.
