They had enough talent to design fantastic subwoofers for over 25 years now but they keep coming up short when it comes down to their feet...

This is somehow different than the hundreds of other such similar products that promise to tame the evil vibration and to pick up where the product design team failed?

Yes, it's different, which is why they would benefit from EVPs. And colloborating with Norm.

Did you watch any of the videos?

The bottom line is Tony has a lot of upside to be gained from trying them, and all of about 8 bucks of risk.

Not yet. I was too busy researching the Bassocontinuo and their collaboration and research into vibration control decouplers with the Politecnico di Milano Technical University.
I have already explored the GrandPrix audio, those guys were involved with Formula 1 design.
See, there are a lot of smart people out there...

The Carbon special has a specifically designed bottom platform that I am sure is intended to be fully in contact and flush with the floor for a reason. (hence you also see them stacked)


But perhaps someone from the audio accessories business knows better? I wouldn't doubt it.

Serge and Stephen, thanks for the enlightening discussion. I’ll wait to get this beast dialed in and broken in, and enjoy it au naturel for a while before I experiment with anything else. Then once I’m used to it, I’m sure the tweak-and-upgrade bug will bite again.
