Default Leica M9

I got bit by the Leica bug lately. I picked up the M9 along with two Summilux lenses; 24mm 1.4 and 50mm. I really like this setup. Anyone else shoot Leica?

I have a couple of Leicas. An old M6 is my favorite. It is a dinosaur compared to yours, but the pictures it takes are remarkable in terms of clarity and color saturation. I have always loved the soft click when you push the shutter button.

I did indeed - albeit an M8.2, but I got a sweet 28mm f/2.0 to go along with it.

I am partial to Leica for the same reasons I am partial to McIntosh - classic looks, great construction and a unique sound/photo signature.

I think so. It's a very good focal length for many purposes. If I had to have one lens that would be it. I had a 28mm with my M8 which, with cropping, comes close to a 35mm for full-frame.

Yep, but film for me. Rather brassy (a sign that it's loved and well used) Leica MP with Summicron 35 and Nocticlux 50 (F1 not 0.95). The 35mm is used 95% of the time, but so cool to go out after dark with the Nocti, whether I'm in Nice or Beirut. This combo has followed me all round the world and I wouldn't be without it. Briefly had an M8 then 8.2 but didn't gel. I think I am just a Tri-X kind of guy
