I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was $1800. $1200 for the body and $600 for the lens. I can find out for sure next time I stop in the store.

I have had the Nikon D7000 since November, 2010 . This camera lives up to its reputation. It does everything better than my D300 did in a smaller lighter and less expensive package. Build quality, grip and feel however are every bit comparable to the D300 and D700 quality. ISO and low light sensitivity is better, focus is faster, images are of higher quality with 30 % more megapixels, saving programs is easier and more useful for favorite settings, HD video is better with the ability to shoot in lower light without affecting picture quality and the ability to change zoom and still have autofocus on the fly (something not available on the D300s) , having 2 card slots that you can designate for any combination of video, jpg and raw files is nice, battery life is better.
