Default Hautonga Owner

I am also a very happy Plinius Hautonga owner.
A few months ago I upgraded my speakers to Monitor Audio Platinum PL200 II's and my amplifier at the time - a Roksan K3 - although it was nice, didn't have the authority, control and detail to squeeze the best from the speakers.
After some research I was planning on going to the Hegel H390 but my local dealer lend me a Primare i35 prisma and the Plinius Hatonga.
I tried both and the Plinius was a really BIG difference. It's a really dynamic and powerful amplifier with great sound and timing, full of energy and details yet discrete at the time. Also suits my need as the integrated phono pre-amp is actually very good.
Another thing that I absolutely love is the remote!
My system is in our family living room. So, it's discrete but sounds awesome.
My sources are Cambridge Audio Azur 851N, family vintage Pioneer PL-15 TT with Ortofon 2MBlue, interconnect cable are BlackSat with WBT silver RCA plugs, speaker cables are Chord Company Clearway.
Bottom line is that I think Plinius makes great amplifiers but doesn't have great press...

Stay safe!
