Default Reference 75 with KT150's?

Can you do?
Has anyone verified with the factory?
Improvement in sound?
Any issues with hitting wires or top cover?

There's quite a few comments in this thread from users who have tried the KT150 in the Ref 75: http://www.audioaficionado.org/audio...507-kt150.html

There are other threads as well on AA that you can look up. The short answers are: yes, yes, yes, maybe (not with wires but too close to cover so many leave cover off)

I talked to Audio Research this morning and they DO NOT recommend running KT150's in the Ref 75.

Completely false. I've talked to several people there.

Well, I will still be doing it. There may be policies about it, but everyone there is adamant about the sound quality benefits.

Pretty sure it was in their Newsletter about their love and recommendations of KT150s.

I have to say, ARC is extremely poor at communicating with it's valued customers. I'm starting to wonder how much we are valued. This is not rocket science, they should tell us definitively, in writing, whether this is supported and/or recommended.

This is obviously backtracking to cover themselves for the GS debacle.

IMHO you have to be nuts not to use the KT150s.
