The Revel F208 gets my vote. They are the real deal.

You were asking about measurements for the Revel f208. You can see detailed ones in Stereophile.
John Atkinson's conclusion regarding measurements: "Summing up the Revel's measured performance is easy: In every way, this is textbook loudspeaker design. It's no wonder that Erick Lichte liked this speaker as much as he did."

Hector - here's the link to the Stereophile review of the Revel F208 along with a link to John Atkinson's review of the Sonus Faber Cremonas. Check both of them out.

I would consider Dynaudio. Many series at difference price points and performance.

I have to disagree with the Revel 208 choice. I had them paired with a Macintosh MA8000 integrated and could never warm up to them. The combo was boring and lifeless. Now, if you would consider the Studio 2s or even better, the Salon 2s, we are talking about a night and day difference. I have owned all three and the Studios and Salons are world class. I'm sure that you can find either near the top of your budget or below. Don't for a minute think that the 208s will give you anywhere near the same performance. Not going to happen.

Wouldn't Bryston's new Model T be a warmer sounding choice than Revel? Tutomac wants a warm sounding speaker. Used Wilson or Sonus Faber would also be good choices for a warmer sound.
