OK this new release SACD for breakfast in America arrived today, I will give it a major listen to tonight and review for us later. MFSL Label Ultradisc UHR MOFI

And so it has the Hybrid Redbook layer and SACD layer as well. it is a UDSAD 2189 Stereo disc, no 5.1 etc. Which I think is fine, has a digi pack with the song titles and words.

Mastered by Rob LoVerde at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, Sebastopol, CA on THE GAIN HD SYSTEM (records)™

" Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab gratefully acknowledges and thanks these individuals and companies for their technical support and expertise: Tim de Paravicini, Pass Labs, Lipinski Sound, and Sound Application. Any sonic artifacts present are a product of the original master tape. Attempts to eliminate them would have negatively impacted the integrity of the presentation."

And lastly, I am thinking maybe I should get the latest 180 cut too, I mean I only have about 8 copies

Unfortunately, I do not have a player that will handle MQA files, until I get my new Oppo 205 set up. Thanks Ivan! ! !
Kind of put the cart before the horse, but I thought my PS Audio Transport and DS DAC would play this CD in High Res, but it does not.
I can rip the Japan CD to my laptop and play it in Hi Res, but not sure if it still sounds the same.
Tidal has the remastered version and they have Crime of the Century in MQA
When you get your 205, keep in mind your MQA cd is most likely a different master than the Tidal version if you plan to compare them.
The MQA cd is a PCM conversion of the DSD transfer used for the SHM-SACD whereas the Tidal is probably based on the regular hi-res remaster.
