What PMC Speakers are you getting? I am enjoying my new EB1i's. Have to thank Dan for all his input on that purchase. Then again I could same the same for the PPP and oh wait a F113. Not sure my neighbors will agree with me on the sub.

You're not going to since the subs are completely adjustable. The last few posts were actually a question if the F112 would be enough for a bigger room.

Serge, would you still recommend the 113 as a pair in a 2 channel only situation? HT is not that great a concern at this point.

Gordon.......I agree with Serge. Your room dimensions reflect what I would consider a medium size room, especially with the 10' ceilings. I'm thinking that if you go with two f112's, you will later be second guessing yourself about the f113's. Buy once, buy right.

I only use mine in a 2ch setup so far. I can't think of better subs for the job. I also like the REL Studio and Stentor but they are not as flexible or musical up higher like the Fathoms are if you need to go higher with your speakers.

I would like to know if anyone has done a demo of the F112 or F113 in there sytem at home before buying it ? I tried to integrate a sub. with my B&W speakers in the past and failed at it; I was never able to dial the sub in well and ultimately moved the sub to a room with inwall speakers as background music. I am considering the JL sub as everyone here seems to be happy but I would like to do a home demo first, any suggestions ?

Most subs are slow and bloated or boomy sounding. JL subs have the reputation of being fast. I was not sure if the JL sub might be too fast for my SF speakers. The other question then becomes which JL sub for my small 16 x 16 size 2 channel room ? I was thinking either maybe a F112 or the F113, but I am not sure which one without hearing . I want the bass to be subtle without drawing attention to the fact that a sub is in the system ie add a touch of sub 30 hz bass and support the above 30 hz sound of the cremona's without total domination .

You have complete control on every asspect of the Fathoms performance. Either one will do the job nicely.
