Default What do you guys use for Buttkickers/transducers/seat shakers/etc?

What do you guys use for Buttkickers/transducers/seat shakers/etc?

I just bought a set of palliser chairs and paid extra for "but kickers" only to find in the fine print that they are the knock off versions and don't go down past 20 hz. If my sub doesn't go down to 7 hz I was hoping I'd still get the sensation.

What do you use? Butt kickers? Crowsons?

I have Butt Kickers, but they are disconnected. They were exciting at first, but became annoying fast, particularly when music was playing. Now I use JL Audio F113 subwoofers.

I can see how it would get old if you listen to music more often than you watch movies. Most people that really like it turn it down so it’s an added feeling to support the movie, instead of a gimmick that detracts and distracts from the movie all the way up. I’ve never sat in one before as I’m waiting to have the chairs delivered and installed. But since mine is of the lowest quality I’m thinking of tearing it out in favor of a premium version. I hope it’s easy to turn it off, plugging and unplugging will get old lol.

LOL! Sounds like it.

If I were to going to sit in a seat shaker, I'd rather it be a Porsche 956...LOL!

Not to hijack this thread but that picture of the 956 is awesome. If visiting the South, The Revs Institute in Naples Florida has a nice collection of the earlier racing butt shakers from Porsche and others.

Best Sirs,

P.S. Like Serge said, never knew such things existed. What will they think of next?
