What do you guys use for Buttkickers/transducers/seat shakers/etc?
What do you guys use for Buttkickers/transducers/seat shakers/etc?
I just bought a set of palliser chairs and paid extra for "but kickers" only to find in the fine print that they are the knock off versions and don't go down past 20 hz. If my sub doesn't go down to 7 hz I was hoping I'd still get the sensation. What do you use? Butt kickers? Crowsons? |

I have Butt Kickers, but they are disconnected. They were exciting at first, but became annoying fast, particularly when music was playing. Now I use JL Audio F113 subwoofers.

I can see how it would get old if you listen to music more often than you watch movies. Most people that really like it turn it down so it’s an added feeling to support the movie, instead of a gimmick that detracts and distracts from the movie all the way up. I’ve never sat in one before as I’m waiting to have the chairs delivered and installed. But since mine is of the lowest quality I’m thinking of tearing it out in favor of a premium version. I hope it’s easy to turn it off, plugging and unplugging will get old lol.

Never had a buttkicker or buttshaker or whatever they are called and don't plan on ever getting one.

I'm married to one -- I have proof.
Best Sirs, Bob P.S. Like Serge said, never knew such things existed. What will they think of next?

I may patent this idea.
The “Climatic Cinematic” Speaker output to a relay that controls a latch which in turn releases the spring. Position such box in front of yourself, aimed high at the head, lower at the gut, or lower still... (your preference). Warning: climatic movie moments will leave you on the floor unconscious, bent over and breathless or in fetal position in tears. Climatic Cinematic guarantees an unforgettable movie experience or your money back. Last edited by PHC1; 10-29-2017 at 07:05 PM. |
