I'd be the guy at the sporting clay range with this bad boy.

Glenn, we shot Blue Ridge last weekend, they had a pair of quartering rabbits (going away) that started 30 yards out ! I was thrilled to get 4 out of 6 !!

I haven't actually been clay shooting in a VERY long time. But I used an ancient Savage 755A then. My brother is the big Beretta fanatic.

It took lots of cleaning and tweaking but it works!

We'd go out to my folks house in the country and just launch pigeons from a launcher similar to this.

Those things actually work quite well. I started out with a "hand flinger" ~55yr ago. Cocked it, dropped in one or two clays and then swing it side-arm. Also worked quite well. Not like a motor-driven trap, but good practice.

We would shoot for hours. Good times! I might have to look into buying a new one.

We have a pretty nice one here in town. They also have pistol and rifle ranges. Keep meaning to join up but life happens and I either forget or get too busy.
