Agreed, yet it's rather impractical for two, at least for now. Only electrical outlets on one side of the speakers. Not to mention a bookcase in the way.

Unfortunately, that often puts the sub someplace that is objectionable. I think next best is next to one of your mains, if you can (minimizes phase issues, cure with relative phase adjustment).

Remember, accurate is better than loud - which means frequency response testing or golden ears. Many beginners run the sub hot (for drama), but when you know where the sub is it is in the wrong place and/or turned up too loud.

Yeah isnt that the truth. Thank god when i bought my Ulric sub's the manufacture came out to my house and set them with a mic and computer free of charge. They spent the whole day here and the subs ended up right next to my V3's and now i have -2db at 10hz and -6db at 7hz!
