Thanks for the kind words. I’m very happy with the car. While I really wanted an air-cooled 911, I realized a newer one made more sense. Having an air conditioning system that actually works makes a big difference. It’s nice to be back in the P car world after a ten year hiatus.

My OCD tendencies are kicking in though. I had the “misfortune” of driving a new C4S on the track earlier this week. Hmmmmm

Just noticed your post Greg. Congrats and enjoy your new 911! As to the C4S, it never ends Greg, you will want the Turbo after that... I've owned quite a few 911 variants including the C2S, C4S, Turbo, GT3 and GT3RS, Boxsters, Caymans, phew... Unless you actually want to drive the 911 in bad weather, the C4S in absolutely not needed nor is the C4S an advantage on the track. Enjoy the car you already have to the fullest would be my advice!

I read you loud and clear Serge! My car is a CPO 2014. I thought long and hard about buying this one vs getting a new one ordered. The wife was encouraging me to buy new, but I’m going to ease into the Porsche ownership experience slowly (I’m sure many are thinking BS, just like my amp purchases).

Between my Audi S6 and the 911, it’s always the right choice for my commute to work!

CPO is a great way to go. You get virtually a brand new car with warranty and save a bunch of $$$. I'm sure this will not be the last 911 either for you but thought I'd share my experience FWIW. In retrospect and my new way of thinking is "enjoy what you already have to the fullest". Sure beats saving it for the next guy and loosing a bunch of money in the process!
