Hi Jim,

I will tell her so when she comes back on Thursday from Hong Kong!

Its so much easier to make fast decisions when she is not around!

Going to sleep tight tonight ... and then wake up fresh to think of the nice story on why a new TT is needed barely 3 months ..... Seriously, I lost only S$200 for a trade in, so not too bad!

Only thing is how to ask for another S$20k for the TT .... Thats really the hard part!

Victor.......Right now I am thinking what Jerry really needs is a very good excuse for S.$21K turntable, cartridge and phono stage preamplifier. It's Thursday morning already in Singapore. The Mrs. will be home today.

Actually I'm thinking once Jerry has his Sooloos for a while and he gets used to it he will forget about LPs. That's why I told him earlier in this thread to forget about any other upgrades for a while.

Well, I am going to face her 7 hours from now. Well, I do have a game plan .. first a late lunch followed by some sweet talk about shopping .... then about my OWN Birthday gift purchase .... hopefully, this will fly!
