I've had the model...I've had the supermodel....I want the SI Swimsuit edition cover girl!

In audio terms only...my wife is here to stay (I hope!). If she can put up with all this nonsense she must be pretty amazing!

Brent, was just reading up on your PMC IB2i speakers. Pretty cool reading. I bet they sound great.

Yes they do....considered by many to have among the best midrange in the world. A well recorded female vocal or acoustic guitar will make your jaw drop and eardrums beg for more.

I'm near Lake Tahoe and the nearest Bryston dealer is in the Bay Area...not impossible but would be a lot of driving.

Pass is just down the road in Auburn. I could potentially look them up and try something at home. Pass fans have lots of great things to say about their gear...a proud bunch to be sure.

Ah, I didn't notice the modwright factor of your oppo. I have heard that it becomes a completely different sounding machine. I have never heard one myself so I absolutely can't comment.

Brent, you should consider the Doge 8 preamp. Excellent soundstage and an attractive look plus remote control and very good tube phono section. Many audiophile say it's line stage performance can't be beat by preamps costing under $5000.
