Yes ... I did buy the Prime from John and he was absolutely great to work with! One of the best I've encountered! While I live in Irving today my wife and I are building a home up in Prosper but it won't finish until the Spring so we'll be neighbors next year!

While I didn't buy my VPI Aries from John Fort, I have talked with him on the phone and he seems like a great guy.

I'm in Flower Mound, on the line from Irving to Prosper. We all need a get together some day!

Any regrets on the Prime?
Have my eye on that table as well.
Question, how do you know where to place the motor exactly?
I understand its not connected and placement seems important I would think.

Thanks! In Downtown Dallas myself.

I'm in Keller. We definitely need a meet.

Today I met an audiophile from Grand Prairie and had a great time.

Any ideas?

My house has an open door policy to like-minded audiophiles. It's not an Ivan system, but it's pretty nice

I have no regrets other than if I was buying now I'd go with the Prime Signature! :-) That thing looks sweet! The manual doesn't actually state how far away the pulley should be from the platter but my dealer told me to use just a very small gap and the belt would grip fine. It's not been an issue. I did add a second belt and there seems to be a tiny improvement with that. Thinking about trying out the speed controller as that is supposed to make a bit of a difference also ...Overall great table!!!

We should totally all get together some day! Would be great to hear everyone else's setup! My schedule will slow down after March so let me know and I'm in!
