I saw the pics from my dealer a few weeks ago but i wasn't allowed to take a pic of them.

They are wider than the Futura's but not as deep.

If the new SF Futura Amati has a string grill, this may be where one of the posts is inserted for the string grill retainers. Just a guess.

I'm excited to see the new models. I really like what I see in these teaser photos. The details are very nice and the espresso finish looks beautiful. But of course it remains to be seen how it all comes together in the full package.

I never liked the looks of the Futura or the Evo. The proportions seemed... just not right to me. I thought they would grow on me but they never did - although the change to satin black top and rear was an improvement.

Yeah, I know. It's how they play music that counts!

Here are the pics of the new Amati and Serafino.. Just arrived at my dealer, fresh out of the box.
I will return next week for a listening session, but so far the new look does not win me over. I still love my Futura..
