Default MLR Calibration Tapes- Lots of Questions.

I have now had my Tascam ATR 80 machine for about a week. It plays, records, fast forwards, rewinds etc just fine. It looks to be in mint condition and I am totally happy about this. It came with many extras but did not come with any MRL Calibration tapes.
Over the past three days, I have been on the MLR Website researching the various tapes I will need in order to maintain my new machine.
If there are any two inch Reel to Reel owners out there in AA land, I would like to know the following.

-Which calibration tapes do you own?
-How can you tell if your machine needs to be calibrated?
-If you change to a new reel to reel tape, do you need to recalibrate?
-If the machine appears to be operating fine, is there a need to calibrate?
-Is the MLR Multi-Frequency Reproducer Calibration Tape enough to get me
started?
-Do I really need to have Two Frequency, Three Frequency, Four Frequency, Flutter and Speed, etc right a way or at all?
-Is there a NYC area business that comes to your house to do the calibrating?
ANY ADDITIONAL COMMENTS OR HELP WILL BE MOST WELCOME.

Well I have done a lot of research about MRL tapes over the last two days and I pulled the trigger on a MRL Calibration Tape. I bought it on Ebay from a MRL dealer. I was lucky enough to be able to phone him for some advice prior to the purchase. He assured me that the one I selected was the most comprehensive and that it would be totally unneccessary to purchase any additional MRL tapes in the future. The tape is for two speeds- 15ips and 30 ips- which are the two speeds of my Tascam ATR 80. We checked my owners manual for the ATR 80 and found out that my machine takes all three of these things- NAB-AES and IEC. The dealer described the atributes of all three to me and I settled on NAB. I now have to study up to find out how to perform the various calibration tasks. Thanks to all who helped and or who read this thread.
