The Mandalorian
I'm surprised nobody is talking about this. I was skeptical, but I got a free subscription to Disney plus through Verizon (available for unlimited plans). So I gave it a try.
I was impressed! The mandalorian is a kind of space western, with little talking and lots of action. The special effects are incredible for a series. The story is written well (so far). The mandalorian reminds me of Clint Eastwood a little, and that's definitely a good thing. The only gripes are the episodes come out weekly and are only 30 to 40 minutes long.

Watching as they come out and enjoying it. You are correct that it is a Space-Western. Especially the opening scenes of Ep 1.
The main character is very much like a Clint Eastwood role.

I totally agree with the Clint Eastwood vibe you get from the show. I watched the second episode last night.....I think it’s very well done and I like what they’re doing with the “sparse” soundtrack too.....gives it a cool feel. I also appreciate the fan service by referencing older species and beings that we’ve seen before in the Star Wars universe. So far so good.

OMG
Just subscribed to Disney Plus this week. And I’ve devoured all 6 chapters Such an amazing series. Great stories. Some episodes remind me of the old Incredible Hulk tv series. But every one has been great. Episode 6 might be the best one so far.
