Default Software Update: v2.397
From Monday 14th January, the new release of Digital Media System 2.1 Software (v2.397) will go live.
This release will include the following:

Enhancement
- Firmware update for ID41

Maintenance
- An issue that could sometimes lead to doubling of albums in the lists of albums ‘by this artist’ has been resolved.
- An issue preventing setting a TwinStore to static IP from the device manager of a Control One/Ten/Fifteen has been resolved.
- Various background system and stability enhancements

Meridian Digital Media System Customers will start to receive notification of this software update from 14:00 UK time.

Thanks for sharing. Heard there was an update coming related to the id41 but wasn't sure what it addressed.

Actually there is a big issue here...
After the update, my system sounds amazingly better.
Clearer, more focused, and much more 3 dimensional.
It must be the firmware update to the ID41 card.
I've been listening all day. This is a big upgrade!!!

Came home from work .. saw the "message" and updated.

My oh my! Indeed there's a remarkable difference. Everything seemed better, in every way. I'm playing Frank Sinatra's "In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning". Seems like Franks singing just right in front ... the right proportion, the voice, the size of the "image", nothing over blown! AND I do not have the ID41 as yet.

I cant wait to get my 808.3 upgraded!

Howie, got to do it, its simply musical!
