But in all seriousness, I did listen through my headphones and DAC to "gauge" the sound and the midrange purity is quite impressive with the Falcons. I would say that is the most important aspect of monitor speakers anyways. The Falcons sound very engaging and musical.

Yes, their main strength is in the mids, that's for sure. They have a highly natural sound there. The highs and the bass will differ widely depending on the amps. The bass has more weight with the 2100 but less clarity. As you saw I put the stands direct on the floor. With spikes or anti vibration feet, the bass is much better but then they tend to sound too analytical and "hifi" for my taste.
But for low volume listening my best amps on them are the 300B Set monos.

Hello,
Your feet look close to mine.
I use HiFi Racks. But I removed the spikes.
I use many different speaker cables depending on which amp is on duty. My preferred ones are in pure silver. Shindo and an other brand which makes solid core cables in silver. Bought a long time ago. Cannot remember the exact reference.

Good day!

I helped setup a pair of brand new LS50 active wireless speakers for my brother today. The Kefs sold themselves after a recent demo. Absolutely stunning right out of the box in titanium red. Fit and finish is well above its retail price.

The LS50W is being paired with Kef’s beautiful matching custom stands. After reading endless glowing reviews about the LS50W, we had high expectations but were a bit concerned about placement in a good size 20 by 25 ft room (with 15 ft ceiling). After a frustrating hour trying to get the app to function, we were able to dial in the LS50W with basic DSP settings. Didn’t tinker with the Advanced settings.

We loaded in Tidal and was totally blown away. The imaging, transparency, details, mids and bass were so balanced, we couldn’t believe our ears. This was with zero burn-in so the LS50W can only get better. Happy campers all around!

I’ll try to load pics through an iPhone, hopefully it takes.

Default LS50's in media room

Hello Audio gear - we also use LS50's in out modest-sized but dedicated media room (5.1).
I use a multichannel ATI N-core amplifier to drive them.
Originally I had Totem acoustics on the wall as L/R/C channels, but switched everything over to the LS50's. Need to update my signature below.
We run the LS50's as 'small' speakers - so everything from 80 Hz and below is sent to the subs. I keep the foam bungs in the back as they are placed relatively close to the walls.

So far, so good.

What an awesome 5.1 setup clpetersen! This was my first experience with Kef speakers. Very pleasantly surprised.

I am going to run my LS50s with my Accuphase E650 as a second system (along with my Silenzio). That should sound great. Right now, they’re just looking at me waiting on something to do.
